Where the Fire on the Altar shall Never go out… Lev. 6:13

Vision Statement

INTERCESSORY WORSHIP MINISTRY

VISION STATEMENT: To partner with the Body of Christ in order to establish and raise up a House of Prayer. God said in Isaiah 56:7b, “For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” This Ministry is called to serve the Upstate region of South Carolina through “intercessory worship” in the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David. Our vision is to keep “the fire on the altar burning” day and night according to Leviticus 6:13.

I. Forerunners for Christ / Three-Fold Prayer Ministry

A. Nehemiah’s call – To rebuild the city walls and restore the breaches through united
intercessory prayer (Neh. 2:17-18)
B. John The Baptist Anointing – “To go and prepare the way of the Lord… “, “make straight
in the desert a highway for our God.” (Is. 40:1-4 and Mark 1:2-3)
C. The Heart of David Worship – To win a region through unity, prayer, and The Davidic
order of worship, thus creating an atmosphere for spiritual renewal and victory
(Jn.17:20-23, Acts 1:14, Acts 15:16-17, and I Chr. 6:31-32)

II. Call To the City/Upstate – Uniting Prayer Groups throughout the Region
A. Preparatory phase for the coming glory (The great harvest of souls)
1. Corporate identificational repentance – essential in order to release true revival
(Joel 2:11-19)
2.Unite with worship/intercessory prayer teams across denominational lines, To remove
obstacles and hindrances (Is. 62:6-12)
3. Unite/Host with other spiritual leaders – To strengthen and fortify areas of spiritual
authority in the region (Neh. 4:6-20)
4. Prayers of authority – Apostolic prayers to equip and prepare the Body of Christ to
reach a lost and dying world (Eph. 4:11-16)
5. Prayers of declaration and proclamation – Prophetic prayers to declare God’s word and
proclaim His will (Is. 62:10-12)

III. Prayer Format
A. The Tabernacle of David – Harp and Bowl Model (Rev. 5:8-10)
1. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in all things (Rom. 8:14)
2. Leadership over site – To ensure that all things are done “decently and in order”
(1 Cor. 14:40)
3. Various biblical teachings in the context of the Ministry Vision, Intercession,
Davidic Worship, and Spiritual Warfare (II Cor. 10:3-5)
4. Praise and Worship (Harp) To exalt Jesus as Lord and to usher in the presence of the
Holy Spirit (Ps. 107:31-32 & John 16:13-14)
5. Intercessory prayer time (Bowl) to be God focused for the spiritual needs of
communities, churches, state, nation and/or current events. (II Chron. 7:14)
6. Evangelistic onsite praying in our communities as the Lord leads (Lk. 10:1-2)
The Lord of Host is calling forth a mighty army in these end times, a body of believers who will advance and take the kingdom territory in the name of their God. Jesus said in Matt 11:12b, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” We believe when the Body of Christ partners together in unity, kingdom power is released and the Father’s will is accomplished for that region. It is in this framework, we feel God is calling forth His Forerunners “to go and prepare the way of the Lord” by establishing a network of worship and intercessory prayer teams who are willing to come together, lay aside denominational differences, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Like Nehemiah, we need to be rebuilding the walls and restoring the breaches in our region. We feel like this can be accomplished corporately through intercessory worship, crying out to our Father to open the heavens for “such a time as this” in order to see the fulfillment of Isaiah 61.
